Create a Fantasy Creature Plushie
In this workshop you will design your very own fantasy creature and transform it into a handmade plushie to take home. Along the way you will learn different sewing techniques to make your creature come to life.
Will it be a majestic unicorn, a powerful griffon, a mysterious werewolf, or something entirely unique from your imagination? The possibilities are endless!

Sculpting Stories in Clay
Think of a story you would love to share with your friends and family. Transform that story into a rich visual experience by sculpting and carving it into clay relief panels. Bring your characters to life and enhance each scene with layers of intrigue, emotion, and dramatic detail.
Once your relief has dried, add vibrant colour using poster paints, either during the workshop session or later at home, to give your creation its final burst of life and expression.
Wednesday 1st April 2026
Magical Mixed-Media Bookmaking
In this workshop, you will create your own book using mixed media, drawing and/or collage, telling a story of adventure and intrigue through images, colours, textures, and a variety of materials. Layer papers, drawings, found images, and decorative elements to bring your imagined world to life.
Once your pages are complete, you will finish your book by binding it yourself, using a selection of coloured threads and strings, giving your creation a truly personal and enchanting final touch.

Painting Nature in the Gallery’s Garden
In this session, you will learn to paint a landscape or outdoor scene in our Sculpture Garden using water-based paints. Weather permitting, we will also experiment with a range of techniques, including cyanotypes, to explore creative ways of visually capturing and interpreting nature.
