This year, the Gerald Moore Gallery is approaching NOW: New Original Work a little differently.
In previous years, we visited degree shows across the country and invited artists to participate after seeing their work in person. While we have once again been inspired by the many outstanding graduate exhibitions we have visited this year, we are now opening the selection process and inviting applications directly from emerging artists and recent graduates.
We are delighted to announce the Open Call for artworks for the sixth edition of NOW: New Original Work, our annual exhibition dedicated to showcasing emerging artistic talent and supporting artists as they transition from education into professional practice. The exhibition is scheduled to run from 6 November to 21 November 2026.
Previous editions have featured artists including Josef Yaeger, Alexandra Searle, Hanne Peeraer, Krystle Patel, Kainoa Gruspe, Abdulmohsen Al Bin Ali, Zinong Zhang, and Sean Synnuck.
OPEN for submissions to recent graduates who have graduated this summer, 2026, and those who graduated last summer, 2025.

- Artists will be responsible for delivering their artworks to the Gallery's address.
- The times and dates for delivery will be provided to selected artists by the Gallery in due course.
- Artworks will be selected by the Gallery's team and the Art Scholars at Eltham College.
- Selected artists will be informed in the final week of September 2026.
- Delivery of artworks to the Gallery will be between 19 to 31 October 2026.
- The private view will be on Friday 6 November, 6 - 8pm.
- Artworks will be insured by the Gallery while on site.
