'The Garden of Hope', a collaborative project initiated by artists Mary Banker and Eliana Rico has been reinstalled in the Guy Hughes Library, Eltham College Junior School. The work was previously installed in our Glass Link.
'The Garden of Hope' explores the theme of transformation and celebrates the connections between hope, action and change.
The installation's animals and plants were made using recycled materials and was crafted by the artists with the help of 400 schoolchildren at Blackheath Prep in a series of 18 workshops.
The work was first installed in Blackheath Prep, then Lewisham Shopping Centre, the Albany at Deptford Lounge and the Gerald Moore Gallery. It will remain in its current home until the end of the year.
