Accordion Books and Expanded Storytelling Workshop
for Children Ages 7–11
Saturday 11 July 2026, 11:00am – 12:30pm
at the Gerald Moore Gallery
Join us for a fun, educational, and creative workshop where children will make their own accordion books. Led by multi-disciplinary artist Briana McCarthy, participants will explore storytelling in an exciting new way while discovering books as sculptural objects.
Through folding, cutting, and mark-making, children will create accordion books and develop their own narratives, considering how physical structure can shape storytelling and the viewer’s experience.
Perfect for children aged 7–11 who love using their imagination and making something unique, this hands-on workshop offers an engaging introduction to art and storytelling.
