We had a fantastic time hosting workshops for Year 4, 5, and 6 students from St. Vincent's Catholic Primary School in Mottingham, culminating in a joyful exhibition at the gallery titled Joy from Creating and Sharing.
Each year group explored a different creative activity:
Year 4: Felt creations using collage techniques
Year 5: Watercolour painting and handmade frame creation
Year 6: Mobile making inspired by nature
This initiative is part of Gerald Moore Gallery’s ongoing commitment to engage and inspire local school pupils through hands-on art experiences that complement the National Curriculum and foster creative self-expression.
We are incredibly grateful to the Heather McKissack Charity (HMCK) for generously supporting this project.
We look forward to partnering with more schools and inspiring even more students to explore their creativity through art.
