Press-gang by Luke Burton was recently covered by Eddy Frankel for TimeOut London. Burton is the current Artist-in-residence at Eltham College and the exhibition is part of the Artist-in-residence programme.
Press-gang brings together paintings, collage, vitreous enamels, and sculptures that explore the experiences of play, pressure, anger, and release. This work also expands on Burton’s interest in the decorative as a mediator between the political and aesthetic spheres. The exhibition runs until Saturday 18th May 2024.
The Gerald Moore Gallery is open to the public every Saturday 10am – 4pm or by appointment.
Installation views of the exhibition were photographed by Josef Konczak.
