"I enjoyed the two work shops because they were challenging and I did not give up so I showed resilliance. IT WAS ALSO EXTREMELY FUN!"
-Year 4 student from St. Vincent's Catholic Primary School
Our exhibition in July 2025 Joy from Creating and Sharing features artworks created by Year 4, 5, and 6 students from St. Vincent’s Catholic Primary School in Mottingham. The exhibition will be on display from 5th – 12th July 2025 in our Ground Floor Gallery.
The artworks were developed through a series of specially designed workshops led by artists from the gallery, held at St. Vincent’s Catholic Primary School. These sessions allowed students to explore various creative techniques and express their imagination.
The exhibition launch will take place on Saturday 5th July, from 1 – 3pm, with musical entertainment provided by Eltham College music students from 1 – 2pm.
Workshops included:
- Felt creations using collage techniques (Year 4)
- Watercolour painting and frame creation (Year 5)
- Mobile making inspired by nature (Year 6)
This initiative is part of the Gerald Moore Gallery’s ongoing commitment to engage and inspire local school pupils, offering creative activities that complement the National Curriculum and encourage self-expression through art.
The project has been generously supported by the Heather McKissack Charity (HMCK).
The exhibition will remain open to the public on Saturday, 12th July, from 10am – 4pm.
