The exhibition opens midway through Stephanie Farmer's two year residency at Eltham College and is a display of recent works. The title is suggestive of the artist's current concern with the space around and behind a painting in a gallery setting.
Using found materials (mount board offcuts and discarded stretchers) the works on display have been often cheaply and simply reconstituted. Most of the works function as reliefs with some set into the wall.
Gerald Moore Gallery presents the first solo exhibition of Stephanie Farmer. Born in 1986, she lives and works in London having studied at The Ruskin School of Art.
Opening times: Saturdays 10 - 4pm and by appointment
