Event: CPD event for Primary School teachers teaching Art, with practical workshops and tips.

Time: 4pm - 6.30pm
Plan: 30 minute slots with each speaker including practical workshops.
Workshop leaders and speakers include:
Elaine Homer: HCPC registered art therapist will be talking about using Art for Wellbeing and running a taster activity. She will also give out details of a free offer with the gallery for primary school children with SEND.
Lily German: Artist and Educator working within primary and secondary schools across London, offering skills based and exploratory art-making workshops. Lily currently lectures and leads an outreach programme for local Year 12 students and undergraduate students in the Art Department at Goldsmiths, University of London. She will be on hand to give practical tips and deliver a clay skills workshop to demonstrate how to differentiate art lessons for all ages and abilities.
Nicki Chamberlain: Head of Year 3 and 4 at Eltham College Junior School will give advice to new teachers on resources and managing your first year.
Ruth Borthwick and Katie Harris: Manage the Gerald Moore Gallery, they will offer advice on how to access museums and galleries to support primary learning and deliver a printing workshop.
Alongside our local programme we are reaching out on a national level to form relationships with other organisations and individuals with mandates parallel to our own.
